Tube strike misinformation

A fading nation's press will work overtime to maintain the illusion of old glories. Here, the London Evening Standard works itself up into a frenzy about "resourceful" Londoners virtually crawling through the streets on their stomachs (on the anniversary of the Blitz, mind you!) to "beat" the Tube strike. So what does someone not from here see? A bunch of losers who prefer not to face reality trying to get around a paralyzed city while acting like nothing is wrong, all is wonderful.
